It is with deep sadness that we share the news that one of the Blaydon Rugby Football Club family Robert Eliot-Roy(otherwise known as ‘ Beaujolais Bob ‘) passed away following a period of illness.
A man of real character, a military veteran who served his country, came to the club too late in life to play, but always supported the club and served on the Executive Committee.
Our thoughts at this time are with his family, RIP Bob. You will be greatly missed and long remembered by all who knew you!

Peacefully in hospital on 21st October 2023 aged 82 years, Bob will be sadly missed and never forgotten by all family and friends.
Funeral Service at Mountsett Crematorium on Monday 20th November at 2.00pm.
Would family and friends please meet at crematorium.
No flowers by request.
