Blaydon U15 Girls 47 – 10 Gateshead U15 Girls

The U15 Girls team recorded their first ever win over a strong Gateshead side at Kingston Park.

We had 20 players turned up for the match and every single one of them contributed to a fantastic win. Its difficult to pick out the good points as there was so many today, our breakdown work was first class, our scrummaging was powerful, our running lines and more importantly our support play was amazing. We’ve kicked on so much in the last few weeks and today was a just reward for all the effort they have put into training (Summary from Chris Millican).

Girls rugby at BRFC is going from strength to strength, with more players turning up each week, Damien, Chris, Paul Foster and Paul V started the team about 18 months’ ago with a handful of players.
