Blaydon RFC Pre-Season friendlies start this weekend, Saturday 11th August with Matt Thompson starting his first season as Director of Rugby

A lot has changed at Blaydon RFC, thankfully some things stay the same:

Matt Thompson starts his first season as Director of Rugby
We have a new Artificial Grass Pitch
We start our first season in the North Premier
Keith Laughlin continues as Club Captain
Majority of last years squad remain and we have some very useful additions (more to follow, direct from Matt)
We have friendlies against new and old adversaries

Friendlies start this weekend Saturday 11th August with:

First away at Middlesbrough
Club squad in a round robin against following 1st team squads: Medical, North Shields, West End and Winlaton, hosted at Winlaton

Subsequent friendlies:

Saturday 18th August, away at Wharfedale
Friday 24th August, away at Tynedale KO 7pm
